The Latest, Why Britisher Raving About India

I often see the simple, painted walls of my home in my dreams. I had got them painted the last time I had visited home and my Dad was so happy with the bright and soothing hues in all the rooms. I live in London, UK, and I rarely get holidays or rather vacations to go home. So, like many others, I rely on online gifting portals to send my love home when I can’t go home myself. My parents live in Bihar in a not-so-developed town. My Mom particularly loves the cakes I send with messages on them. I love listening to her happy voice when she describes how she got the neighbor’s kid to read the message.

Since my home is in a kind of semi-urban area, I often need to check with many gifting sites in order to ensure delivery in the locality. Round the year, for the important occasions, I check with a dozen sites and then select their best product and place the order online. Most of these sites take one or two days to deliver the gifts to my hometown. That is why I usually place the order in advance. But due to increased workload, I had forgotten that I had to order ahead for my parent’s wedding anniversary until much later in the day. My colleague, who is also Indian and often sends gifts to his home, told me about Indiagift.in. I logged in during my lunch break and quickly ordered a beautiful red velvet cake with fresh fruits and a bouquet of flowers combo. In the delivery options, I selected the same day delivery under shipping option and customized the delivery time to deliver my gifts as soon as possible.

Even before the clock struck four in the evening, I had received a message that my gifts had been delivered. When I called home later on, I couldn’t believe my ears! My Mom told me that the gifts were beautiful and the flowers looked fresh as if they had just been plucked! The cake was the best one and the fruits were actually fresh and were not wilting as if they had been cut hours ago. The red velvet sponge was soft as cotton candy and the frosting was super creamy. Moreover, the delivery boy had touched my Mom’s feet, wished her a Happy Anniversary and then delivered the cake and gifts which had been packed extremely carefully. This was in stark contrast to the other delivery boys who often cribbed about delivering gifts in the outskirts of the city. I’m forever thankful to Indiagift.in for delivering my heartfelt sentiments besides just the gifts that I order online.
