The first ritual of this festival is shrinjhara. Shrinjhara is a box that is given to daughter-in-law by their in-laws.   • Now take some Kalash fill it with water and tie it with the sacred red thread.

  • Place coconut at the top of the Kalash. 
  • Now light the lamp and do some puja to complete the vrat 
  • Honor Lord Shiva and Parvati with Chandan. Offer some flowers. 
  • Now read Hariyali Teej Vrat Katha and perform your customs. 
  • The next morning, before breaking the fast, prepare some bhog for the god and offer them and after that have the bhog and break your fast.
