Whenever people hear the word Diwali, the first and foremost thing that comes in minds of people is the crackers and the beautiful fireworks that lit up the sky like it is a day. It is very common to find people all over the India celebrate Diwali without any fail on the marked day. The reality fact that most of the people have forgot in the recent days is that there are some pujas that need to be performed on that day for the well being family and its family members.

It is just consider as a party day and hardly performs pujas in houses during Diwali. People must know the importance of pujas to be performed during Diwali so that they can make their family to prosper well and comfortable in all aspects with the blessings of God.

Lakshmi Puja:

It is one of the most important puja that is being done in most places of Indian during Diwali day, especially in the central and northern India. This puja is usually done on the full moon day before the sun sets. There is no specific timing for Lakshmi puja to be performed. It must be done any time when the sun is not set on the full moon day. It is generally said that when people perform Lakshmi puja during Diwali, their business will flourish well and fetch more money in their business process.

Ganesh Puja:

It is not a well known puja which many people are performing. This puja is usually performed only in some selected communities and parts of India as it is not wide spread during the Diwali season. Some people consider that they celebrate Ganesh puja a month before Diwali so it is not necessary to celebrate again during Diwali season. The reason why celebrate Ganesh puja during Diwali is to honor the ultimate God and to thank him for new things that they have bought and also to help people to celebrate Diwali without any disturbance.
